I'm thinking about getting my XD parked, and maybe a shotgun. Any good refinishing sites you guys know about? I had a few bookmarked from a year ago, but all the websites are long gone.

LTM refinishing on arfcom seems like a popular option.

also check with James at www.xd-hs2000.com
    or Richard at http://www.canyoncreekcustom.com/

Both of them are XD wizards. My Service is going to James next month for a refinish and a set of TruGlo Tritiums (buy them from him and he will install them, no charge last time I checked)

Canyon Creek also does THE best triggerjob on XDs. Verm has a 2lb competition on one of his and the thing is awesome, it feels just like his 1911 trigger. Richard also has a concealed carry trigger option that I am going to have done one day.

It's odd, I've been to 4-5 refinishing sites and most of them don't even have pictures of their projects, or even of the different colors of gunkote or parking.

I would get your XD Duracoated, the slide alone is like $45.. or you can buy the kit and do it yourself.

CCR does a damn good job on weapons. Everyone I know that has gotten their guns refinished by them have been tickled to death. Here's their link:

I believe so. He's been posting over at the XD forums again so it looks like he's done moving and open for business

The XD comes parkerized or with some kind of similar thin coating. James duracoats for about $55 I think. I did mine with some ceramic spray paint, baked it and cured for 2 weeks. the finish is tough and won't come off with cleaners.
