I've been working on this .22 my dad gave me, so far I've got the stock done.

I wish I would have taken some before pictures, this thing was really in bad shape. Anyway, I'll take more pictures when I get the barrel blued and everything back togather. Does anybody know of any shops in Socal that do reblueing for a reasonable price? Also I've having some hard time finding some nice butt plates, does anyone recommend a website that may have what i'm looking for? I havent made my way out to Pony Express yet.. I hope to go out that way in the next week or so. Anyway, thanks for lookin!

Almost forgot, does anyone know where I can research to find out the exact year this weapon was made? It was made by Stevens Arms.

Could I see some pictures of the barrel/action assembly? The stock looks very similar to a .22LR that I own, and with some shots of the rest of the rifle, I might be able to help you.
