    Okay, there have been some really stupidly niche market lenses made before (mainly for the PR value of saying how great a companies lens works are) such as:

    Zeiss 1700mm f/4:

    i remember a few months ago a guy on the FM forums was trying to sell that nikon 1200-1700 for around 45,000 dollars. I asked if he really thought someone was going to buy it, but it got deleted. :mamoru:

    I think those are for old fluoroscope machines or Med Format. Nuts either way.
