I am working on redesigning the homepage for my website http://www.sailangle.com. The current design is not user friendly or search friendly.

The main homepage is mostly for first time visitors, as there is the member's homepage when you are logged in.

I was thinking something along the lines of the screenshot below where there is a short description of the site in the middle, and when you mouseover each section/feature, there it changes the description to that feature. It needs to be scaleable, as we will be coming out with new features in the near future.

Any advice from the experts? Also, if I did go with this design, what is the best method for creating it (java, ajax, etc), and how much would it cost?

    Thanks in advance.

Google can index flash, but it still can't follow embedded links, and since the majority of his homepage are links it is pretty much useless.
