if your shutter speed is that fast, why set the iso that high?

Neither can I, but I can make images that like that, that were taken with my D70. Same picture, only processing was image resize.

Didn't touch the contrast at all. Basically turned the Green Channel on then went mono. Recolored the portions that still have color, played w/levels, sharpened.

I doubt many of you care, but I do. The greyhound organizations throughout the country put out a calendar every year full of submissions from people. I got an entire page print of this image in it. It meant so much to my mother, and made me happy as shit.

I take it you live near dewey?

She goes every year, it's a huge group of fuckers, it's almost unreal.

It's pretty cool to know that even if it wasn't paid, that picture made it out of the thousands submitted each year. The picture itself is just so emotional to me that it was worth it.

That doggah was the first she adopted, and she got him right after I almost died in a car accident, so he was my best friend, pretty much only friend, while I was bed ridden for like eight months.

She showed me the calendar yesterday, and my big burly, redneck ass broke down in tears, he was a great dog.
