For those who have played it, what are your thoughts?

I want to play single player first to kind of get the feel of the game before I hop on multiplayer.

    Does this shit get repetitive?

It is repetitive, like most sandbox games, but it was one of the better ones. You don't have to do all the side missions, I skipped most of the timed race style ones.

The mechanics of the game have made it fun. Multiplayer can be a blast if you have a friend or two.

There should be a SP and Multi demo out on all systems. Or rent it, it's totally worth playing in some form.

I tried the demo and thought it was garbage. Generic third person shooter with unrealistically destructable buildings.

My main game right now I am playing on the PS3. The graphics are top notch and the way buildings destruct and fall down is just kick ass. Love coming across a bunch of guys in a 3 floor building and running a truck through the first floor bringing the building down. Its so fucking bad ass.

Like all sand box games it does get repetitive. But I play for a couple hours here and there and really like it.

It is repetitive, but you get new toys over time.

So blowing shit up gets more and more fun and more and more fulfilling.

The physics engine alone is worth playing the game. I hope more games are going to have this level of destruction....

it's repetitive of course but holy shit is it a fun game.

like posey says the physics engine alone is worth the money for the game.

it was a top notch game. My single complaint was that sometimes an entire building like 30 feet tall would be held up by one steel pillar. obviously a not perfect physics engine, but one that does definitely shine 95% of the time.

the game doesnt wear out its welcome with an excessively long sp game, it is a perfect 8 hours or so (only including about 20% of side missions). wrecking crew offline mp is a suprising one, i could play it for hours.

finally online mp is suprisingly good. I bought it simply for the sp, and to see good mp on top of it was very cool.

But, it has no story, and to make the game easy they let the main guy in sp take like thousands of bullets to live and I played on normal. I wonder if playing on hard is more satisfying
