I had a magnifier, I hated it. I have TA31F now I love it.
I never liked the magnifier.
I'd get the ACOG.
Aimpoint + magnifier.
I haven't used the magnifiers, but was sorta *meh* about ACOGs. The eye relief of them I thought kinda sucked. I personally like a 1-4 variable a lot better.
Yar was practically giving away his old Accupoint, and I think those things are excellent AR optics. Might consider hitting him up and seeing if he still has it....
i love my TA33 but i might be picking up a used aimpoint m3 from a friend soon.
it just depends on what you're doing with your rifle
yea i realize ..my friend was asking since he was deciding on an optic to use on his rifle that would be easily used inside of 100 and have the ability to shoot at longer distances. I totally forgot about the accupoint and how yar was raving about it with the variable 1.25-4x magnification for short and long range.i should tell him to look into that then.
Which one did you have and why did you hate it?
I can only describe it as tunnel vision.
I sold the accupoint the other day. The guy pretty much nutted his pants about the price.
The 1x4 trijicon accupoint is hard to beat.
Which one did you have?
You sold the one you just bought?
No I sold the 1x4. I upgraded to a 3x9 which is the one on my primary competition ar-15
Hmmm, almost got one of those but i went with something else....
It kicks ass. Although unless your also using some sort of secondary short range optic I would recommend going with a 1x4
