about a week ago I shaved my groin and the next day i noticed red bumps starting to appear and they itched. after a few days they started getting smaller and going away...but its been about a week and the red bumps are still there...should i go see a doctor about this or just wait?

just wait, don't shave again until they're completely gone and be careful next time- your skin might be too sensitive to shave that area. make sure you keep it moisturized.

Neosproin works well. After a few shaves, you won't need it anymore.

Its just shaving burn. Juts use a soothing cream on it like canastein (sp?) or neosporin. Next time you do it use moituriser straight after and cut the hair in the are you want to shave first. Only shave short hairs against the grain.

and yeah moisturise straight after and/or a soothing cream like bepanthen...for nappy rash etc.

Believe it or not, use Dove Sensitive Skin unscented deodorant. The wife learned that from a stripper friend, and it works very well. Yes, I use it too.

Made me laugh...probably because I'm from the states. :mamoru:

I've never heard of putting Neosporin on there, but if you do decide to use lotion or something - make sure you use an unscented lotion. It seems you may have sensitve skin, and a fragrant lotion could irritate it further. :eek3:

Yea, clear deoderant works well, as well as tendskin, or witch hazel. Keep shaving once a week and your skin will get used to it. Try shaving with the grain at first and then see if your skin will allow you to go against the grain without getting irritated.
