MIL Recruiters struggle to find an Army

    Sad really. I only graduated in 2000 and I remember a fuckton wanting to go into some form of military service, but as I understand it the trend identified in the article is seen here too.

    Do Category I and II recruits climb higher in rank than those that lie within the lower categories?

    rarely meet people who say they joined 'to serve' or similar reasons, most people i talk to joined for the GI bill and to get away from what they were currently around...and i dont blame them, especially since all the advertising for the military has pushed the money for college thing pretty strongly as long as i can remember as the biggest ploy heh

    an adverse effect is that you are going to start losing officers at a quicker pace.
