Recovery from practice?

    I just started training with my school's rugby team and i'm getting the shit knocked out of me constantly. I know that over time i'll be able to take the hits more and more, but for now i'm in awful pain everyday after practice. Is there anything I can do to help relieve the pain other than tylenol? I'm never able to get to 100% before practice again and I can tell my body is wanting to shut down.

    Epsom salt, contrast showers, lots of sleep, I find ZMA/Glutamine help.
