Recovery after beer

    I'm going to be drinking a fair amount of beer in a few weeks time, but I generally like to watch what I eat. After drinking a few pints the night before, what's the best way to offset the negative effects of getting smashed from beer?

    drink a ton of water before you go to bed.

    when you wake up... pop some advil, drink some gatorade, eat a steak bomb, and sleep it off

    Maine sounds like he has the shit down to a science like I do. Throughout the night of drinking if you can, eat something, drink some water, get electrolytes and pottassium in your system (banana).

    After a night of heavy drinking for me, lifting always sucks the next day....too tired and dehyrdated. But I won't be drinking at all for a few months this fall/winter.

    I normally don't have a problem at all training the next day if i do it later in the night and eat/rehydrate very well throughout the day :dunno:

    I feel you bro, I FEEL for you hard. :wtc:

    What is gay is a good deal of my friends I hang with are a bunch of out of shape pussies who chain smoke ( I do not smoke anything at all) and all they fuckign do is drink. Don't get me wrong, I appreciate a GOOD beer more than the next guy and I love drinking but anytime I don't drink for fitness reasons they try to egg me on and shit. But I am the only one who goes out in a wifebeater or tanktop when we go out :hsd:

    Anyways, good luck, I take it the lack of drinking is for a good reason, as mine will be if all goes through. :x:
