recovering playlists form ipod helpp!!

    reformatted computer and lost all my playlists on my computer, but they are still on my ipod, is there any way to get the playlists off my ipod?

    nope...the playlists themselves are stored as a playlist file under the iTunes folder. the music is just stored on the iPod and "assigned" to different playlists. Unless there is something on the windows side that can distinguish the playlists, i think you're assed out.

    Senuti claims to be able to but the function has never worked for me when I've tried it on a number of machines. It only rebuilt some of each playlist which is pretty useless. I've tried a number of other programs that claim to be able to do it too and none have worked. At this point I'm just going to rebuild my 20+ playlists for my iPod.
