I'm looking for one that has the same ergonomics and simplicity as uTorrent, for the PC users. Transmission is decent, but I'm not too thrilled with the layout not to mention the fact that you can't download individual files from a torrent.

Any other recommendations? I've tried Azureus, and didn't like that one either.

I think those are pretty much your only two choices if you are on Oink.

Found this in the must have software thread:
    Name: BitRocket
    Website: http://www.bitrocket.org/
Software Category, Type, Price: Open Source, Torrent Client, $0
Description: BitRocket is a Native(Open Source) BitTorrent client for Mac OS X. At the heart of it's core resides the powerful libtorrent BitTorrent library. BitRocket is aimed to be a good alternative to other Mac OS BitTorrent clients.

Supposedly it works with oink but I :dunno:

The last time i used BitRocket, it crashed constantly when I was loading more than 4 or 5 torrents. Transmission ftw. Azureus is a bloated Java POS.

Same. I only use Azureus when I want to download one file out of a multi-file torrent. I still have nfc why Transmission doesn't offer this functionality.

    I've been spoiled by uTorrent.

Every other bittorrent client just pales in comparison. :wtc:

no transmission isnt supported by supertorrents and as far as oink I have no idea but my guess is no.

I have to use Azu for supertorrents which sucks I wish there was something else out that these sites would let us use.

actually.... straight from the Utorrent forum FAQ
Is there a Linux or Mac version?

Vurlix is no longer working on the OS X port, so none is currently in the works. A Linux and OSX port is still planned for the future.

    Translation.....god only knows
