Just got a 2001 dodge ram ext cab. I was looking at something that would sound good and not cost much, previous owner had whole truck wired for subs under the rear folding bench seats. it has new speakers in the doors and 2 3/4th inch circular speakers on the triangular section on the door. \

Im also looking for a easy way to get my ipod hooked up.

    Current headunit= panasonic CQ-C5IIOU 50wx4

like maybe 500 or so, im not looking for anything super loud, just enough to make it sound good. Maybe 2 10" to go under the back bench seats

    Stick with one sub (cheaper).

Already having a head unit and wiring makes it pretty easy.

Do you want componets or Co-Axils for speakers? Take out $100-$150 for a decent 12, $50 for the box, $150 for a decent amp that leaves $150 for an entry level componet set or a nice set of Co-Axils. :)
