We're going to put a disposable camera at each table at our wedding. Are they all pretty much the same or are there a few that are better than others?

Everyone is going to bring their own camera, but I want people to take candids with these cameras for us to keep.

They're all pretty shitty, this is a "chick" idea and it's going to end up sucking balls.

The first lesson for the groom that the wedding is the first and last set of decisions the wife should ever make.

I don't think quality is what he's looking for.. He wants to be sure they get the pictures their guests take.. If they just ask the guests to take pictures and "email" them, they won't get more than half.

Better 200 that don't hurt the eyes than 1,500 that will never be individually viewed and waste space because no one has the heart to put them where they belong.

Everyone will have their own digital cameras.... so a solution to your question is to bring a laptop or computer with one of those multi memory card readers and set it up. Make a few announcements through the night that you want everyones pictures loaded on the computer before they leave, and have someone handy to help people upload their pictures.

I did this with my macbook a few weeks ago at my brothers wedding. Pretty simple, just dropped everything into iPhoto and made sure it was set so it wouldn't erase the card after the import. (Which is defaulted anyways I believe)

It's easy and it's free. Will save to hundreds of dollars on cameras and developing for a bunch of shitty pictures you won't do anything with.

    bad idea.

i've heard of other people do this and it never works out. these cameras usually get stolen as an extra parting gift or kids get a hold of them and take stupid pictures.

go with the laptop route, take the money you would have spent on the disposable cameras ($10 x # tables) and buy some prints online.

we did this when we got married and it was the stupidest idea. Each camera had 50% the pictures of the floor and other blurry shit, 25% of the cake adn another 25% of just a pic of everyone at the table. Real grand fucking idea.

Only a handful of folks got bright enough to take the camera into the bathroom to shoot pictures of themselves in a mirror or a shot of their nuts
