I've had my LTCF for two years now and never once carried a gun. With things heading down hill and crime on the rise I'd like to start carrying. I bought an USPc .45 a year ago or so in hopes of carrying it, but it's alot larger than I though it was going to be. I've had a glock 19 before and liked it, but I'd have to try the subcompact in person to make sure it fits my hands well. For now I'm thinking about a subcompact glock, and I've heard great things about the CZ Rami. Any other recommendations to look for? I want semi auto and don't want a compact 1911. I want to go and handle alot of guns, but most local places have the usual glock and xd stuff in stock and want to make sure I'm not missing something that can be ordered.

    Thanks.

    Whatever you shoot well.
A quality belt and holster makes all the difference. Sparks/wilderness/comp-tac. I hide a p220 in a t shirt.

    I rotate between:
    S&W 642
    Sig P220
    Steyr M9A-1
    Glock 30

The Glock compact/sub compacts are nice guns.

A j-frame sure is great. I wanted to prefer the semi's too but it just works too well to ignore.

    I have a S&W 642 in Mika pocket holster.

G26 is a good choice too. I shoot it better than the M&P9c.

G26. The G30 is a subcompact in name only, with the 10rd mag it's almost the size of a G19.

I've always liked semi's but they all became a pain in the back. Had a compact USP then a sub compact glock 26, moved to a pm9 then finally to airlite j frame. Never liked revolvers but the j frame in the pocket is the least noticeable to me in a decent caliber.

I prefer my XD 40 SC over the glock only b/c my fingers are too big for the finger groves.

having said that I like the glock 26 alot as well. I shoot the rami better (single action ftw) but I have been thinking about picking a 26 as well.

ended up getting a good deal on a CZ Rami. Made a thread. Thanks for the info. I looked at the Glocks and liked them, but for the price I could get the CZ for I took it.

I carry a G27 daily. No complaints at all with the subcompact Glocks.

Not really a subcompact but I conceal a P229 SAS on my 5'9 frame with a Wilderness belt and Crossbreed holster. :coold:

Fucking love my Crossbreed, and I've only been using it with a regular belt. My Wilderness 5-stitch is on the way, can't wait to try it out.
