So I picked up this book about a week ago, as someone suggested it on another forum. At first I was skeptical due to the title seeming kind of "Alpha male" BS mumbo-jumbo. Checking out the reviews on Amazon it seemed a little too good to be true. Nonetheless, it was cheap, so I bought it.

I barely got 1 chapter in and this book is amazing. It's much more than just dealing with "pick up" techniques and the usual BS. The guy who wrote it is a psychologist with 25 years of experience and he has some really amazing insights as to WHY guys are acting the way they are. He deals with putting others needs first, being passive, being angry, sexuality issues, why we chose unavailable partners, why we can't accept gifts or being taken care of, and some really fascinating ties to being abandoned as kids, and how it all ties together.

The book is also written very well. It's clear, concise, and easy to read.

I just finished reading it and am now going to re-read it again. It really made me think about a lot of my behaviors.

The results are also pretty interesting. In just one week I've seem some radical changes in my relationship - for the better - in ways that I cannot even explain. I'm having lots of really powerful insights into myself and my relationship, and life is moving ahead in some great ways.

    His web site: http://www.nomoremrniceguy.com

He has some (slow) forums, and there are a few good articles, and this one is the most powerful one for me:

    Enjoy! :x:

Yeah I plan to read this as well. Although I think it's going to reiterate some of what I've already changed about myself, but I'm sure there are some other new things to be learned.

Personally I was surprised, as the things he covered I've never read anywhere else. I recommended the book to a few other people on some other forums and one guy has experienced a complete 180 in his marriage (wife was e-cheating) and is feeling a lot better about himself in general.

    Kinda scary! :noes:

Well I know it must be good... I quoted the article on another forum and one of the women moderators was all over me. If I piss her off, I know it is good stuff.

On the forums it was talking about how men and women can't be equal. That men are leaders. They are trying to change that, which is messing things up.

Yeah, the forums are kind of ... weak. The book makes it clear - focus on yourself and learn why you are failing and things will get better.

I havent picked the book up yet, but just going off stuff i learned in my evolutionary psychology class, which this book seems to talk about, it goes back to childhood. Majority of women played dolls, and had tea time. Men on the other hand were more rough with other boys. They would step on other kids, fight, and punch to get what they wanted. They werent as passive as the women were. They fight to get to the top. Thus, thats why men are usually better at being leaders, ceos, etc. They did studies on this, but i forgot all the details

Im going to go to the library now and see if they have it.

I think Zan put it best. I think he put it like this:

Men and women are equal. But the feminist movement is trying to make men and women THE SAME. But they are not the same, they are equal. There is a difference.

And he said it with his smooth great tonality and i wet myself

 I don't pay for anything that I can get off the internet. Mind you Canada has no piracy laws which make it a little safer.
