i'm going to go 15lb in my wife's 19 but considering 13 in my 19 that i use for carry & competition (uspsa production).

do you know-it-alls think 13 is too light for standard power loads?

ill probably go 13 or 12 in the 34 i'm going to build up for a limited gun.

the vickers isnt legal, afaik. if i really wanted to do something other than local clubs i'd go to the 34 release since it's a factory part. other than that, as far as i can tell everything else is gtg.

fwiw, i've shot 3 or 4 matches with the gun 100% stock except for the sights and the mag release. the other stuff i added today and this past weekend.

I'm not concerned with "legality" too much. I just want to shoot it for shits and giggles.

It depends on what your looking for the 13# I think gives you the most slide speed with reliability. The 11 lbs is fast but I can outshoot the mag spring. I change my 13# recoil springs about every 6 months and I estimate it's at least 20k+ at that point with no problems. The 15# works too for 9mm but it's fairly oversprung in my opinion. It's still an improvement over the 17# stock spring.
