Recommend me a routine

    I havent worked out regularly since 2000 when I graduated from HS. I went from minor definition in my chest and abs and was 145lbs. Now I have none of that and am at 130lbs. I just signed up for the gym across the street. I want to work out my heart, get up my endurance and get a good over all upper body workout. Give me suggestions please I would appreciate it.

    that stuff really didnt tell me anything, I dont know where to start and I dont know any of the lingo.

    monday : abs
    tuesday : abs +chest
    wednesday : abs+bis
    thursday: abs
    friday: abs+chest+bis (so you look good when you go out)
    saturday/sunday: abs

    I can idenitfy with you. Im 5'8 and i was 147 like 3 months ago and I started going to the gym with this routine

    Now im 160-165....and im getting alot stronger.

    Just concentrate on compound lifts...like deadlifts,squats, pull-ups, bench press, shoulder press and dips.

    Eat a ton of food (cals,carbs and protein)....Sleep atleast 6-7 hours a night and give your muscles time to recover. Oh yeah and lift heavy.
