    I used to have the Acer AL2216wbd, but sold it to get the Samsung 226bw. The Acer is a decent monitor, but should pay the extra for the Samsung.

    I also have a Samsung 906bw (19" WS) set up as my secondary monitor for dual setup.

    Have two 19" Samsungs at the office, and a 24" at home. Love 'em.

    A monitor you can watch TV on - does that mean you can use it as a TV card too, and view TV in your OS?

    No, some of them have RCA in on them - not sure if they have coax - but it's direct to the Monitor and not through/to your computer.
