Since the Entertainment forum seems pretty dead, I thought this would be an appropriate place to post this. Anyways, recommend me a movie I can take a girl to. Don't tell me movie dates suck, I'm a newbie and need to take baby steps. Thank you.

Well how bout a bit of advice? Go to an early movie, then go out for a snack afterwards...you can use the movie as a conversation starter, then move on from there in getting to know the girl.

:werd: Just find out the type of movies she likes, find the closest thing to it and there you go. If this is a first date I wouldn't recommend going to the movies, but to each there own.

First date? If so enjoy spring...... Go grab a cup of coffee, ice cream, smoothie whatever you drink. Sit around and talk for a while then go up to a park and take a walk :dunno: It does not matter if you are scared sitting next to her in a dark movie or sitting across a table from her she will know either way. At least if you confront the fear you will get over it.

It seems that the movie idea is stupid , so the whole coffee date thing is preferred? There is a Starbuck in the area but, I have never stepped in there in my life. Give a first timer some encouragement, hopefully tomorrow is the big day.:noes:

Now if he picks a movie with a leading man his date finds hot...does she get hot and bothered or does she compare him and think "My date looks sooo average... I guess I need more friends anyway." I read something implying the latter in MAXIM.:o

My gf went to watch it with me too... she thought it was just 'okay' whereas I really liked it and am planning to watch it again.
I think it really is more of a guy film.

Its also different though for you and I compared to the threadstarter. Movies we can take our gf's too isn't the same as if it was on a first date. We don't have as much to lose.

I dont care about a story. I just want to see bloodshed.

Anyone going into this movie looking for an incredible storyline has the wrong idea imo. And I havent even seen it yet.

300 kicked ass. Then again I'm probably more into movies like that than most girls...

My friend said it was gay because too many guys were shirtless and had 6 packs.
