    PUR,

I've just about settled on the Tamron 90mm 2.8. It gets to a 1:1 macro, has some of the best bokeh in the business, and works great as a portrait lens too...

I'm gonna get it sometime next week... Can't wait!

Sweet, mind if I ask how much? I look forward to sample shots..... this SLR shit is as addicting as guns and cars... I just wanna buy up everything, only to still suck. hahahaha

Anyone have any opinions on this lens? Canon 60mm f/2.8 EF-S USM Lens.

the canon 100 2.8 macro is even more  as its also an amazing portrait lens and faster focusing

No input regarding the Canon 60mm f/2.8 EF-S USM Lens???? I only ask because I found one used for a good price, but if it sucks then I'll buy a 100 2.8, thanks.

ef-s 60mm will be easier to use than the 100 and still give you the same magnification

    Pur:

B&H has the Tamron for $450, but there's a $90 rebate on it right now...

There are some links and sample images in the thread I started about getting it...

But i'm excited about getting it. Lots of Sample images will be posted as soon as I get it.
