Read title. No i'm not gay.
Kimi Ga Nozomu Eien
Ichigo 100%, Harem Anime FTW!!
Don't wanna admit it
but Da Capo and Da Capo Second Season is pretty good
La Blue girl
kare kano, ai yori aioshi, and ayashi no ceres are all great.
Plus if you havnt seen love hina it is a must watch title.
Kimi Ga Nozomu Eien and Saikano are probably the saddest romance animes ever created.
In fact, KGNE is #2 on the Animenfo top 200 list, it's that good
saikano > kgne
but i cant belive i forgot to list saikano, maybey because the last time i watche dit i felt like crawling up into a little ball and killing myself for afew hours lol.
most tragic romance anime i have ever seen.
Air is romance i guess, love hina really is good, Ah My Goddess is good... Samuari X is romance kinda. InuYasha? that's all i can think of
Hmm, Onegai Teacher and Onegai Twins is comedy/romance. I like them.
Saikano's weak animation and contrived (more so than KGNE) storyline prevents it from being better than KGNE, IMO. Although the story was pretty good and the drama was heartbreaking, the stupid shit about mechanized girl ultimate weapon and the enemy from a distant land turned me off from it.
Download Onegai Teacher first. If you really like it, then watch Onegai Twins.
saikano was okay but i dont get how people keep sayings its so good etc etc
maybe im not one for ultimate weapon girlfriends
kgne was more realistic and i agree with soren, its much much better
Shuffle! if you want another Harem.
shuffle is good
Saikano all the way, no anime is better, im sorry. That anime touched me so much, i couldnt believe it. My positive favorite anime of all time.
watch rahxephon its kinda romantc in some scenes, same with elfen lied
Mohoromantic was decent. Stellvia of the Universe had some romance. Of course, one of the best is School rumble if you are into romance comedys.
Thanks for all the recommendations so far. I just finished KGNE and I loved it. Saikano is next.
edit: Saikano isn't appealing to me. The main characters are ugly and the drawing style is kinda old. I'll try to finish the first episode but it's so boring to me.
I think you should watch at least 2 or 3 full episodes of it before you give up on it. I didn't really care for Saikano in the beginning either, but I started enjoying it a ton after a short bit.
If you don't like the sadness of Saikano though, there are some good more humor-driven romances. I thought Midori no Hibi was pretty good, as well as Chobits.
old drawing style, good thing i didnt recomend SDF: Macross (watch this anyway!)
now before you guys say its a mech anime, i have to say it was a teen drama with mech stuff thrown in as a secondary plot.
first time seeing these two i thought they were too "cutesy" but ended up liking em a lot
midori no hibi has got a strange concept but is really cool tho
There's just a bunch of little things that annoy me. Like the constant blush lines under everyone's eyes, the main characters' voice, and the fact that he's so much taller than Chise. And war/mecha doesn't really appeal to me. And like I said before, I don't really like the drawing style of older animes, and it seems like Saikano is kinda old now.
and I have seen Midori no Hibi, Love Hina, and now KGNE. I'll try to get Onegai Teacher and Onegai Twins since I know my friend has those. I guess I prefer ones where they are based in real life. I'm not into the war/mecha, fantasy, and other stuff. I'll keep going through the recommendations that you guys have made based on that preference.
