I plan on picking up a 03 TL soon and I would like to add a dvd touch screen with navi onto it. Are there players out there that let you play data discs with downloaded movies (avi, mpegs, divx) ? Thanks.

    No NAV.

I would recommend an Eclipse unit, with dual-drive or HDD built in. This way you can have NAV and still listen to CD's at the same time!

    ;)

That's the route I'm going. Eventually Going to pick up the NAV box for it (KNA-G510) which is made by Garmin. That setup also allows you to play music and have the Navi on at the same time.

    :rly: see below......
i know at one point the DDX screen came as a package. screen and nav unit together.

and IIRC the Eclipse topped out with a whopping 0.8 volt pre-amp output.

Yeah they do, just wanted to wait before I get the Navi, to see if i really like the screen. Plus I'm getting it through a Kenwood accomodations program, $500 for the screen, $400 for Nav box.

Alpine NVE-852A... DVD driven so it's got tons of destinations... also starting to get pretty cheap on ebay because newer units are coming out!
