it has to fit two 22"+ monitors, and a macbook pro as well as some photography things. Nothing too crazy. I'm not looking to spend over $300. I've just been working with a newspaper as their photographer and things are going well and I want to take it more serious.

    ikea
    pick legs of choice
    add a under-mount frame
    pick work surface of choice

you're not going to find anything decent for that price, but as long as you're not pounding fatties on it or moving all the time, it should be ok.

i should upgrade my desk game too, but my cheap L desk is working fine for me, so i can't really justify it right now.

Ikea doesn't post everything online. Just go to the store and look at the setups. A lot of their stuff is interchangeable so you could get legs from this line and the top from that line...sounds like i'm building a woman.
