I've had my eye on trailblazers, but the reviews seem pretty crappy. I've been researching everything from Blazers to Cherokees and Rodeos to Yukons..

My wife just traded in her trailblazer, and all I can say is that it was average... We never had any problems in the 4 years we had it, but it was just boring... not that powerful, boring interior, crappy gas mileage, etc...

BUT, it was great for camping, hauling around my 2 year old and all his crap, and there was always enough room for frequent trips to Home Depot in our first year of owning our house...

Get a Tahoe. It's much more practical than the TrailBlazer, more power, and you can get em cheap.

4.0 makes plenty of power. you're not running the indy 500 with an SUV.

Cherokee or Grand Cherokee, 4.0, 4x4. It will be fun.

I have a 2001 Chevy Blazer LT 4x4 and i love the thing, i recent rebuilt the engine just to put performance parts in it. The 4.3 is more than enough power and it does great off road. The only problem I have is the stupid governor.
