Recommend a good protein shake for me

    I'm 5'10 about 155 lbs and just started lifting. My bro got some shit from GNC called "Mass XXX-Mass Builder". The guy at gnc said its good for him cause hes skinny and needs to gain a lot of mass

    I was thinking of getting some ON %100 Whey Protein. would that be good for my body type or should am i skinny and should take the mass builder shit

    oh yea, whats the dif b/w ON %100 whey protein and mass builder? it says it provides 50g of protein on the bottle!

    Weight gainers contain more than just protein, they have a lot of carbs and some fat as they are designed to make you gain weight. Whey protein has only whey protien in it.

    IMO dont buy a weight gainer, buy some protein powder and if you really need the extra calories, you can use whole milk, peanut butter, oatmeal, bananas, etc

    Just buy whey.

    ON Whey is good but a little pricey.
    Allthewhey from allthewhey.com is really good, cheap, and a small serving size but doesn't mix as easily as ON.

    and GNC is way overpriced.

    oh yea, at 5'10, what's the ideal weight i should set as my goal...is 155 lbs at 5'10 really skinny?

    Don't pay attention to weight necessarily, but more of how you look at your weight.

    I'm 5'11 @ 200 lbs and look leaner than a few friends who are 5'11 @ 170.

    It all depends where your weight is and how much bf you have. As you lift you'll be getting those glorious newbie results. It won't take long for you to notice changes if you are consistent and dedicated.
