Looking for a good digital camera, easy to use, light weight with at least 10mp to carry around on a daily basis. I have owned an olympus and canon in the past

    Thx

    PS: No samsungs please.

Did it burn your tongue when you said that?

I've heard good things about the Panasonic LX-3 too.

Yeah, the Canon's PS are great.

I personally have the Nikon Coolpix S610 and love it. :)

Why do you need at least 10.0MP?

Canon SD series with a huge screen and no space wasted on an optical viewfinder

SD880 IS is pretty awesome. Amazon has the gold one for $247

Anything but Casio, HP, Olympus or Kodak. They've all got their place nowadays so go to the store and find the one that has the features YOU want.

The "Anything Canon" argument is nullified anymore.

    I just bought a panasonic DMC-TS1 (12mp)

I love it. Of course some might take better pictures for the same price, but this one has HD video AND is waterproof/dustproof/dropproof.

So I don't care when I carry it around.

I keep my D80 for the better quality stuff.

Shit. How have I not heard about this? I loved my last Lumix and have been wanting a nice P&S that is waterproof, etc but everything out there was complete crap as far as image quality...Looks like I finally have something decent to choose from, AND a 28mm wide.
