I've got a Canon 300D with no case/bag for it. Anyone have any they recommend that's not too expensive?

It's always too cheap in photography.

But you can get a Lowepro Nova 3 for that, it's small, but it'll hold your camera with an attached lens, extra lens and a compact flash unit. I think I still have my old one somewhere around here.

lol Why's that? If you're not interested in selling it, that's cool. They're about $44 with free shipping on eBay

one thing you gotta think about first is what TYPE of bag you want. There all sorts of bags out there, so think about how you plan to use it, when/where you want to carry it around. Also, what else do you plan to carry in it.

For me, weight is not that much of an issue cause I'm always not so far from my camera the more sturdy the better.

One word. Pelican. Military guys use it for side arms and rifles. Look into it. You just might like it. Probably be able to find a pretty decent size one for ~100.

I just ordered the Slingshot 300 the other day. Should be here Monday. Everything I read said that once you get use to the design it is a very nice bag. I like the fact that you can swing it around and pull the camera out without taking it off. And you don't have to wear one of those fanny pack holster looking things to have quick access.
