Looking for a site to track what I eat and my exercise. Any suggestions?
I know of http://www.fitday.com but in for better suggestions
see if mens health magazine has one
the women's site does
i have their software, but it doesnt make sense to not have it online. didnt know they had an online program, have to check it out.
fitday I think is one of the biggest ones but it actually kind of sucks. not much selection for foods. I find myself adding about every third thing I eat.
I signed up and have been having to add everything, kind of retarded. Worth giving a shot though.
I hate it. I used it for about a week, got tired of adding everything and decided to just say fuck it.
let us know if you find somethign REALLY good.
dude, it says that, without exercise, my metabolism should be burning around 2,850 calories a day. I find that hard to believe.
its range of healthy weights for me is: 128.9lbs - 174.2lbs
Maybe if it was 1943 and I lived in Poland
"A healthy range is within these 60 pounds"
my coworker swears egg rolls are 110 calories because fitday says so....and he doesn't worry to much because it tell him he is burning the same amount as Alex while sitting at his desk all day.
Yeah fitday is annoying because the food list sucks, I have to add everything myself.
Then when you start putting together your own meals, even something simple like spaghetti bolognaise, it's impossible to calculate all that easily.
yeah, im not even gonna fuck with the homemade curry i just had. calling that shit chicken and rice.
Fitday's search engine isn't very intuitive. A better method is to read the labels on the back of everything you eat. I used to write on a small whiteboard that I put on my fridge where I put down the food, calories, fat, carbs, and protein. Now I can pretty much guess how many calories are in anything.
I'm been using fitday for ever. their list sucks. for your inputs use nutritiondata.com they are on point BUT don't have an intake counter. So combine them both and you got some pretty solid shit.
I thought you just scribbled it on the back of your McDonalds placemat. No wait thats me sorry
Much Appreciated. Shalom nigga!
No problem G.
fitday is pretty good. my gf uses it. what are you tracking your food intake for?
