i really like the 03 lancer OZ, and i think it's in my price range. i have about 2000 to put down and would have to finance the rest

i don't know how great mitsu is on reliability...their cars aren't built with the highest build quality. maybe the nissan sentra, used maxima/altima, toyota celica, there are lots...what kind of car are you looking for?

im pretty flexible as long as it meets those requirments, the only car i really "wanted" was a lancer OZ edition

well i mean when the criteria is

    good mileage
    cheap to insure
    cheap to repaid
    reliable

none of those things relate to a car being fast or good looking in any way possible.

    but no, actually youre wrong

the lancer OZ is MORE gay than a stock civic or corolla.

You could get a Legacy that's in good condition for tha price. They're reliable, great in all weather conditions, easy to work on, etc...

Don't get mitsu. Especially from the 90's. Totally unreliable.

    bought an 02 Lancer ES

even thought a lot of people said not to because they're unreliable, it was worth it. I got a low down payment, really really low intrest, low payments, way off the sticker price, and a 2 year warrenty

there's nothing wrong with the lancer ES except it's slow as balls. but it doesn't sound like he cares about speed so... toyota corolla is really the best bet seriously

Agreed...about the Civic or Corolla thing anyway. The Lancer is a decent car, but not my choice. I would look for a 96-2000 Honda Civic EX 4 door or coupe depending on your preference. If you get a Civic EX 5 speed they are actually pretty fun to drive, look good, have a good crash rating, will always have excelent resale value, very reliable and with easy driving will average 32-37mpg of 87 octane. The Corolla is an excelent car too...just very boring.
