It's those fucking sodium lights.

If you fix it you throw away a ton of information as your red channel takes a shit.

:werd: the yellowish tint screws up the WB terribly. I tried to compestate for it, but like mattsb2000 said - red goes to shit. :hs:

I like the 2nd one of your wife and son reading. I'd watch your horizons, the photos involving ships are mostly crooked to the right.

other images on my camera were not shot in auto - i tried several different settings and it it was nearly pitch black dark in some areas - Auto yeilded the best images...as for the crooked horizons - my tripod broke that night - one leg got jammed and would not go out or in...I have since replaced that piece of trash. German manufactured tripod my arse. It was a Cullman, now I have a Promaster.

I haven't tried this yet but it might work.

Make a blue layer, and put it on top of your image. Fuck with the opacity untill the wb looks right.

You might be able to keep the red information that way.

Ohh, and to the film guys, how do you avoid this problem?

D50. I have the 18-55 and the 55-200 ED lenses. I am going to chunk the 18-55 and going with the 18-70. I would love to also get the 50mm f/1.8 as well.

a buddy of mine has been shooting on campus a lot lately and has mad friends with the custodial crew... they've been letting him into buildings, and onto the field. :o I need to get up there with him one day.
