You will not wear your own shoes.
Depending on what unit you are assigned to you may or may not run on a rubberized track.

wednesday morning is the only time you will ever sleep in.
start learning how to set your bag on the ground quietly and quick, and picking it up. repeat.

Not that hard if you have a medical reason. I was able to obtain one due to the fact that BMT did not issue a shoe in my size.

PC is really one of those gray areas. We had a guy get thrown over a bunk, one get slammed into a wall locker, and beds were flipped with PEOPLE IN THEM. Unless BMT has grown soft in three years you can expect some fun. We ran on both. There was a soft track that we ran on and a huge drill pad right next to it than we had to run around as well. When we ran for our last PT test it was on a road course. Hope you get the 321st. That is the REAL BMT experience.

2003 was a rough year at Lackland :hs:

They softened up to the opposite of hardcore in 2004.

Actually I went through the beginning of 2004. By the time he gets there it will have been three years. The TI that threw the guy over the bed lost his hat for a week and the one that slammed the guy against the wall locker was "counseled." Flipping beds was and probably is a ritual that will stand the test of time. I don't know how they get away with it. Expect your letters to be thrown at your head like ninja stars and learn to love the ready position when it comes to push ups or even better, after an hour of PT more push ups with each one having a "halfway up" and "halfway down" that last what feels like an eternity.

    BMT was so cake.. lol

but then again, it depended on your squadron.. our TI's ran the shit out of us.. but were usually gone right after/before dinner and left us to our own deviations.. but we got teh highest marks in the 324th so we did pretty good
