I'm really picky when it comes to bags, and was wondering if you could make me some suggestions. :]

    My gear: D70, 18-70, 50 1.8, EF500, and a couple filters.

I want a messenger type bag... that goes accross the chest, not a shoulder bag. I'm really familiar with Tamrac and Naneu Pro, and they jsut don't ahve anything I want. I've heard good things about Crumpler Bags, but I can't find any good information about them.

I have this bag now, and I want one that compares to it, but is made for a camera..

    Bags are over rated....

Until you have to go on a shoot with 2 camera bodies, 4-5+ lenses, multiple flash units, and shitloads of accessories.

    Lowepro is the bomb.

Bags may be overrated, but I dont want to hold my camera all the time when I'm walking downtown for a night. I don't really like to leave my camera anywhere I'm not, but if it's gonna be with me all the time, then I want a good bag.

Penut, any good deals for me? :x:

I have a small Lowepro cause all I carry is my camera in there. I didnt want a really bulky thing to carry around because I knew it was gonna be with me at all times. Ive had the camera for like 3 weeks (D70S) and there hasnt been a day that I havent taken it with me so a big bag wouldve just been a big inconvenience. But since youre carrying extra stuff I guess it would be necessary to get something slightly larger. And bags are def. not overrated. Think about it, youre carrying something thats close to a grand(if not more)...do you really wanna take a chance by placing it somewhere.

I've got a Lowepro Nova 5 AW, and it fits my camera and all my lenses. If I pack it just right, I can take a second body without a lens on it.
