If you don't report to meps = didn't happen.

As long as you don't report to a meps - you're not under commitment. Don't acknowledge receiving the packet.

well, i got the packet, and as much as b/f wants me to just ignore, i can't. it's not the type of person that i am. yeah, I don't want to go...but, so be it.

i have to go to fort benning in june to do mob processing and then if im cleared, i go to active duty. im just not sure if i will go straight to active duty and deploy or if i'll go there, clear, and then come back home for a while til i leave. the details in the orders are not overwhelming.

The details are not there because they're not valid orders until you receive them through official channels.

Sorry to hear that, sounds like its getting more and more common. Kind of glad I have such a long dep time, takes almost a year off my IRR.
