I just realized a few moments ago that my dad had a bunch of old comics, I'm pretty sure most are probably pre 80's. Not sure exactly what he has, or how many. I remember seeing at least one brown paper grocery sack full of them, maybe more. Probably not in great shape, but decent.

So the question is, what pricing guide should I use to see if there is anything worth any amount of money? I'm going up to his house this weekend, and if I can find them, I'm bringing them home. I know he was never really into comics, or really collected them, I'm not even sure how he got them, probably an auction or yard sale or something. I thought I might keep the ones I like, and get rid of the rest. :dunno:

I believe Overstreet has essentially every comic ever printed, but only comes out once a year.

Wizard Magazine has the most popular listings from the 60's on I'd say. Comes out once a month.

Wizard is too political and had a lot to do with the Image hype in the '90s so they don't get much love from me.

CGC is the latest craze in pricing: http://www.cgccomics.com/
