By all means, buy the sprayer where you feel most comfortable getting it. Its the process thats important, and I felt worth sharing.
Scott, thanks for the reference though. Been a long time since we've spoke!

holy hell! I haven't seen you here in a while! You're right, it is the process that is important, and I do think it's a great idea. Sorry, didn't mean to come across wrong about the sprayer.

No problem, Patrick. We could have spoken in person if I had been able to get away next weekend and help Mike Phillips and a few others detail the Batmobile (the TV show one, I believe) at Meguiars in Irvine. Just too busy and I am still trying to make up for 3 months of rain last summer.

You need to stop by this forum more. :)

How well does the ONR clean salt? I live in Utah and have a black car....joy......The wash is very excellent, like it very much, just curious on how well it does on cleaning off salt, or should I just do a drive-in car wash thing, washing outside with a hose is a no no in 20* weather.....

Rock, not a problem, Im not here to take advantage, just help a little as Scott does.
Scott, Batmobile would have been an interesting time for sure.....
I need to get out more often I guess.
Im not as visible on Autopia as I was once either, life kind of catches up with you all of a sudden doesnt it? I spend the majority of time where I sponsor, over on Acurazine.
Was probably about a year ago or so, after many complaints about it losing its color. Was a smart move I might add by Dave over at OPT.
From what I hear, and I sell quite a bit of it back east, it really works well......And if you dont like it in the winter, you still have it for the more favored months, so its a win win.....

Patrick-the Batmobile detail has been rescheduled for late spring. I talked to Mike Phillips the other day and he said the forecast rain next weekend in Cali was the reason for the reschedule. Hopefully when they set a new date, I can get out there.

BTW, I mentioned the Batmobile to Dave at Optimum and he said he'd pay half my expenses if I used Optimum products on it.

Also a good thing that works for me is spray a heavy degreaser at FS, 1:1 or 2:1 in the jambs and use that gallon water sprayer to get it out. Works nice but can be a pain to have more equipment around.
