18 whole ounces? That is pretty much a couple swigs off the nalgen bottle for me....

Seriously, how much do you normally drink a day? I get at the bare minimum 1 gallon per day. Anything less and I feel like ass and will get headaches and other symptoms...

Damn I wonder if that's why I get a lot of headaches, I mainly get the tension headaches though. I know I need to drink more water, I hardly get any.

try taking headache medicine before working out

and instead of drinking water, try gatorade

most likely it's just dehydration...drinking lots of water through out the day helps a ton

Do you know how much water you drink total throughout the day? I would aim for at least a gallon..

it's not gonna kill you :dunno:

in fact taking some form of medication like advil is good for you...or if not, take baby aspirin

    could it be your diet?

i disagree with some things, but it is your body.

i'd go see a dr. and get it checked out then. maybe they can tell you what you're doing wrong or how you can eliminate getting headaches

good luck and feel better :hs:

Go to walmart or something and buy a 1/2 gallon tub to put water in. Drink it throughout the day while at work or whatever. I've noticed that since it's warming up down here, I'm getting headaches too after working out so I upped my water intake to a gallon a day and I haven't noticed a problem anymore.

Advil is worthless and it tears up your stomach.

Drink more water...and when the occasional one pops up...use Naproxen Sodium/Anaprox...aka...Aleve.

I suffer from migraines. It's the only stuff that gets rid of them. I used it for years on prescription until it came over the counter a few years ago.

And I'm talking migraines...loss of vision...vomiting...pain so bad I can't stand light or sound...and I've literally contemplated a bullet to the head to make the bad ones end.

Luckily with Naproxen Sodium...I usually catch them in the first stage when I start to lose my vision...a couple hours before the pain starts...and I haven't experienced that ruthless pain in years.

But hydrate yourself first. Then the painkillers next.
