    I'll make this short.

I'm planning on getting a new phone, I'm with Cingular. I'm looking at the Black Razr, because I'd probably get that over anything else they currently have.

Blah blah, I'm just afraid there's gonna be a better phone right when I get mine. I know that's how technology goes, but I'd still like to know if there's anything I should wait for.

The only other thing I saw was the Slvr or something. http://direct.motorola.com/hellomoto/famlaunch/slvr/

Any ideas to why I should/should'nt get this phone, or another one I should look at? Camera, big color screen are needed. Bluetooth is wanted. Sorry this wasn't too short, haha.

    Thanks!

I'd like a flip, preferrably with a color outside display. I'm pretty sure now I'll get a black Razr, but I'd like to hear good/bad stories about other people's experiences with them.

Razr's not a bad phone...definitely cool looking though some people say it's too wide. Only complaing I really heard was the camera was kinda blah( CDMA Razr for Verizon later this year has an upgraded 1.3 mp one).

Amazon has free RAZR's after rebate with new contracts from Cingular. :)

Sorry to bump, I just got back from a trip.

But is there anything like the Razr out right now for Cingular, or anything like it going to come out soon?

The reasons I don't have a Razr right now is the price, and the mediocre camera...

In my area, razr is one of the worst "decent phones" available for reception. I get better reception on my LG C1300 than my friend does on her black razr.

See if someone at the store has one you can try out before you buy it. ask them about reception, if they lie, walk out.

I have a razr as well..

Save yourself the money and buy any other motorola phone. They are the same damn thing except the razr is thin. That's all. Unless you have a thing for looks over features. Don't expect so much from this phone.
