I'm starting to drink raw eggs mixed with milk in the mornings. I'm too lazy to cook and often am in a rush. My serving size is typically 1 egg white, 1 full egg, and a bit of milk. Am I risking my health by eating these eggs raw? I have read that there is a risk of getting salmonella. What do you guys think?

If there is already a thread on this, a link would be greatly appreciated.

I do it based on someone here that is still alive and does it. So you should do it because then you eating eggs raw would be based on someone eating eggs raw based one someone else eating eggs raw that is still alive.

    See, it makes sense.

I think I read somewhere that by eating uncooked egg you're not getting all the proteins you could :dunno:
not sure if its true though , so my post is really pointless

salmonella risk is low, like 1 in 20000, but too much can lead to a biotin deficiency

SURELY it'd be easier to slam 2 scoops of whey in that milk, instead of separating the egg white n shit.. plus u wont get salmonella

Eggs have nutrients that whey protein doesn't have.

How many raw eggs/eggwhites do you guys typically down for breakfast? I'm thinking of throwing some more eggwhites in there.

i do. I've been doing it for a while until recently. On christmas i came down with flu like symptoms, i was thinking maybe it was salmonella but i dunno... So i'm going to stop putting raw eggs in my shakes because of that one incident.

takes two minutes to cook them. that way you digest all the protein and no biotin deficiency
