Rate this (my) diet:

    I have been applying this to the Pur sticky thread and haven't been getting all the results that I want. Maybe I'm just an impatient bastard.

    Meal 1 (8am)
    3 eggs + yolks
    2-3 whites
    1.5 cups Kashi crunch cereal (4.5 fat 50 carbs 15 protein)
    skim milk with cereal
    one scoop whey

    meal 2 (11am)
    1 EAS Myoplex bar (something like 30 carbs 300 cals 30 protein)

    meal 3 (1-2 pm)
    Turkey sandwich
    jerky/nuts

    meal 4 (3-4 pm)
    can of tuna
    1.5 cups rice
    some olive oil

    lift

    meal 5 (7-8 pm)
    2 scoops whey
    1 gatorade

    meal 6 (9 pm)
    chicken breast
    steamed veggies
    some rice usually

    im usually still kinda hungry so i eat some peanut butter and/or cottage cheese before bed.

    what im struggling with is keeping this going throughout the weekends. im at college, and the only one of my roommates who gives a fuck about nutrition. On weekends im around pizza, beer, and junk food and i sometimes have shitty will power. how do you guys combat this.

    if you cant control yourself. You mgith as well quit, and join the frat life. Getting serious with nutrition/lifting does not mix well with the typical college lifestyle.

    i partly agree with you.

    if i cant control myself i SHOULD just quit, but im working on not indulging in shitty food like my friends do for nearly every meal. quitting is the last thing on my mind. i love going to the gym. it feels great.

    i think that right now is a perfect time to get into lifting. i have completely free, unlimited access to an excellent gym. I have complete control over my groceries (willpower aside) and lots of free time when im not at class to lift.

    ps. frats are ghey around here

    no..im trying to put on weight. i think we have discovered the problem. what should i change.

    a couple cheat meals wont kill you, especially if you are trying to gain weight

    what kind of gains have you had with 4-5k cals? im a shitty ectomorph lanky mofo so it'll be tough going.

    ill just start eating 4k calories when i get back from break and continue on my pur routine..if i cant gain on that then ill just /myself

    The only way to combat it is to strengthen yourself. Put your stuff in the open and when you feel hungry, MAKE YOURSELF GO TO YOUR FOOD.

    apparently you need more scoops of ON MRP and cups of milk that is of the whole variety.
