i picked up some protein a s well. 24g a scoop. figure 200g a day so 2 scoops morning, lunch. post work out and night time. as for diet, eggs and oatmeal w/ a bagel in the morning, sandwich pasta chicken or steak for lunch and steak or chicken for dinner. 2 snakc periods in between, thinking of putting the protien shake as one snack between breakfast and lunch, then one after lunch

is there any flaws, alterations i should make?

Too much protein supplement IMO - try and get more from food :hs: I can't imagine 200g's protein in shakes daily would work well.

So you're only eating 3 whole meals and the rest is shakes? Thats not good, whole food > Protein Shakes. Also its kinda hard to tell how much volume your routine has when you dont list the rep/set range or what type of exercises etc.

the only reason i said three meals is just an example. with my schedule its kind of hard to eat 5 small meals a day. illl probably be able to work something out where i can eat 5 meals, but it was just an ex. and i didnt even thikn about the protein ill be receiving fromthe foods. so if i lessened it to 2 shakes a day @ 58gs a shot, plus the protein from the food. id be hitting 200gs a day. hows that?

to clearify, .5g/lb of protein is for the average person. people who lift weights and exercise arent the average kind of people in my book.

if you're gonna replace a meal with a protein shake, at least grab a protein bar to go along with it. powerbar, clif builders bar, etc.

Oh OK. I was just always told/read that you should try to get as much protein as possible from food instead of shakes.
