    TOTAL : Grand Total:$616.94 :noes:

i'll probably buy the plates/dumbells at sports authority.

I think this will cover everything i do in the gym. Except i wont be doing lat pulldowns/dips/legpress/curls in the squat rack.

Looks good. Similar to what I have, less a separate pulldown/low pulley station. And a set of PowerBlocks and a bunch of accessories.

The weights he will probably be using will not be very heavy (sub 500lbs) but if he drops a deadlift the force exerted on the floor is magnified. I wouldn't do it unless the floor was a slab.

i wont be doing conventional deads. i'll just do stiff/romanian.

I just plan on doing squats/db bench/pullups/sdl/rdl/overhead presses.

    You'll be fine.

I have that exact rack and bench. I got up to a 330 deadlift and 315 squat on the second floor of an apartment building in a spare bedroom.
