    well my HP that i bought 5 years ago died of aids, so here is what i want to replace it with. thoughts?

    basically i use this pc for browsing OT, dl'ing porn and editing 10mb+ photos, running Photoshop and editing HD video.

    don't worry about price. I know i'm not getting the best deal since i'm not building it myself. I'm more concerned on any major flaws with the components that i don't know about.

    What is the model number on the SSD? I am thinking it is garbage.

    Well it looks like every Ridata SSD is garbage. Find something else.

    i really don't even need an SSD. i was thinking of doing the 300gb Velociraptor at first. :dunno:

    the other option for an SSD right now is a Kingston V Series.

    Both aren't all that good. You will be able to grab a 2nd-gen Intel X25-M 80GB SSD for around $250 in a matter of weeks.

    both as in the kingston and ridata or both as in the velociraptor?

    should i just get a 1TB 7200 drive and then wait on the SSD?
