I want to start her on a full body routine 3x a week. Cardio and ABs on selected off days. Seems like a good routine for me as-well, but just wanted to see your opinions. She only has about 4 weeks experience with weights...

I kinda really pulled this out of my ass....what you think?:hs:

    Monday: 3 sets, 6 reps
    Squat
    Flat Bench
    Barbell Row
    Triceps; pulldowns
    Hammies; leg curls

    Wednesday: 3 sets, 9 reps
    Incline Bench
    Military Press
    Deadlift
    Delts; Lat Raise
    Calves; raises

    Friday: 3 sets, 12 reps
    Squat
    Bench
    Barbell Row
    Biceps; curls

How does it look; Any suggestions, tweaks or possible links to other routine I can simultaneously do with her.

Ill be doing the same routine.

If she is just starting out you should get rid if the Deadlifts (for now) and up the reps on everything to 10-15. Do it for a month or so. Females need to start with high reps to get stabilizers in place and up to par.

Everything else looks good to me.

Youre right. Women who havent lifted before should start with low rep/ heavy weight powerlifting routines. Their joints are perfectly capable of handling the beating without any problems at all and they will learn the movements best by starting with max weight.

all beginners should start with reps of 10+ really.. and females tend to respond better to higher reps anyhoo.

Routine seems randomly thrown together. There are full body routines and shit in the archives, pick one of those.

I'd agree there, but there's no reason they can't do deads at a lighter weights.
