Not a fan of LG, but to each his own

    Corsair HX PSUs >> TX

I believe the XIGMATEK heatsinks > the Freezer 7 but am not sure... wait for doomsday to chime in on that one.

I'd prefer Samsung, but the LG price is right.

Open to suggestions for a power supply in the same price range if mine wont cut it

It was a toss up between the Xigmatek and Freezer 7

Save the money you would spend on them building it and upgrade to the Corsair HX series power supply. I've got the 520HX and it's definitely rock solid and a great unit. Soon to have a GTX 260 Core 216 55nm on it in addition to quad core, 8gb of ram and plenty of drives and whatnot.

The HX series can handle high load very well (not that the above config will really be coming close to its rated output anyway).

Make sure when you go onto the ncix website you go through the flash banner on the top left. That's where all the sale prices are. The board is $23 less and the hard drive is $15 less.

I have the freezer 7 pro cooler and i like it so far. Decently quiet and keeps things cool. My q8200 is currently at 16C.
