i dont really get it.. but some people do things in training they dont do in competition. maybe he's really at that level? maybe he does put on a gi sometimes? i do not know. seems strange to me though def. dont really see him as a bjj guy

    Pretty much this.

:dunno: I don't doubt he's a great athlete and an amazing wrestler, so I guess hats off to another new BB!

and he's never attempted a submission

not that "submission attempts" = BB, but you have to be at a pretty high level to earn your BB, and you'd THINK that maybe ONCE or TWICE in a fight, someone with that advanced skill level would maybe TRY to pull one off :mamoru:

    ...unless you're George Gurgel

haha yeah, bit sounds bitter indeed. In my opinion, just because you can beat one person of a belt color, I don't think it implies that you should be the same belt. I'd say proving it in competition consistently is the better indicator, which I am sure you can do/have done already. Now in regards to your opinion on what the belt has become nowadays, and it being meaningless for you... I can respect that. You don't teach for a living (bjj) I'm guessing... and if competitions don't mean anything to you... then a coach who won't promote you because of those things clearly isn't looking out for you at all.

But... have you quit training all together under a black belt? What do you do nowadays for bjj?

 Sucks you're so soured on something you've put in such a long time doing. A lot of that shit is absolutely politics, and it's so subjective anyway that it's tough to say when somebody is or isn't a BB.

I contribute when I feel I want too, and this isn't OT, this is the cage. OT is a few forums up. This is a forum put in place for a reason, im not here to help anyone. If they ask me, I will, otherwise im here to browse the mma-related stuff and talk about jiujitsu if possible. I've said in this thread more times than one that im a part of it. I dont do half the trolling of the known people, especially yourself.

This argument could go on and on and I dont care what you say, im right, you're right but wrong in defending yours and others actions. Stop the fucking bullshit or im literally going to do everything I can do put a stop to it. every single trolling bullshit or anything i'll email to a super admin, i've talked to glen and others about the trolling in here and im the reason there are more admins here and im the reason you were temp-banned in the past.

The fucking bullshit stops here for me, im not going to be trolling anymore and neither should you or anyone else. We should all be trying to be good about this at this point and im not going to argue any other way. Like I said, i've been a part of it, and im not going to tolerate it anymore in myself or anyone else if it's directed at me or very badly towards someone else.

Im just sick and tired of it, and bit getting railed in this thread just put me over the edge.
