i'm not keeping this up forever. but wow i had been wanting to see this fight and it definitely did not disappoint. its so strange how kawajiri owned shaolin badly in teh rematch. shaolin is absolutely dominant here, and tools kawajiri with his jiu jitsu. what a great fight.

    very :coold: fight

kawajiri's probably one of the better sprawlers, probably just behind cro cop and maybe some other people. and for a GnPer, kawajiri just couldn't keep shaolin down...thoroughly impressed by shaolin

i really like how he got kawajiris head an arm from the knees and keep spinning him until he falls over

i thought there were knees to the head on ground were allowed in shooto...kawajiri looks much bigger nowadays...second fight i've seen of shaolin's...looked very impressive....very composed and relaxed even at end of fight

no there arent knees allowed to the head on the ground, no stomps either. but punches to back of head are okay

what's with punches to the back of the head that makes them illegal in most orgs?

that was pretty kickass the way he was chasing that kimura and triangle, some sweet transitions

It's such a shame that shaolin wasn't in the lightweight gp, he so could have replaced the awful kotani.

the part of your brain that controls vision is in the back. its just a dangerous spot to be hitting.

the occipital lobe. a hard hit could cause temporary blindness or temporary damage. long term damage would have to be the result of a VERY hard hit from something like a 2x4'
