    I dont think it has anything to do with the music. People have choices and music doest turn people, its their choice.

    I think its just the people in general thinking they are tough shit and trying to defend themselves.

    I dunno, people play violent video games in Japan (were talking MEGA violent) listen to the same rap we do and the only people beating each other up seem to be the yakuza and that's just over people not giving them their damn money.

    Music doesnt do shit to people but make them think they are tough, thats it.

    It comes from tough guy "gangsta" rappers and the mainstream fanbase who can't get their style out of 1994. Check out "Personal Journals" by Sage Francis.
