    If they were going to just rip off dealers for money I wouldn't really have a problem with it :o

    Why is the ATF setting up drug stings?

    While I find the idea of some rangers really hitting some dealers kind of funny, anyone that is going to use the military training the US gave them for crime needs to be sent away for a long time.

    I have a few questions like that.

    Were they planning this and just looking for an insider? Or did the undercover suggest it to them? Either way, they're bad for agreeing, but the latter is closer to an entrapment situation.

    Were they only armed because the ATF agent told them they should be? Sounds sort of like the ATF was hoping to bust them with something more heavy than a semi-auto and some pistols.

    They were planning it so they were wrong, but there is a lot about the story that stinks at first blush. Of course, that's par for the ATF course.

    Sounds like they were busted for not *doing* anything. Thought crimes much?

    These new "intention to..." laws are starting to freak me out.

    I believe you are talking about 3rd bat. 5th bat hasnt been active since WWII

    Camp Merrill is the mt. phase of ranger school most of those guys come stationed from Ft. Benning
